Clarksville Academy hosted Perry County Friday night at Simpson Field in a Region 7A matchup. Clarksville Academy got out to a quick start when quarterback Bryce Robinson hit Eli Norman on the second play of the game for a 55 yard touchdown. Perry County would then answer with a scoring drive of their own. Robinson then hit senior Garrett Bauer on a 33 yard touchdown. Robinson then would hit senior Noah Clayton on a 25 yard score. The scoring would continue throughout the game. Perry County did take the lead midway through the 4th 54-49, but that lead would be short lived. With touchdown passed to sophomore TJ Jenkins, and then Bauer again, the Cougars pulled away. Garrett Bragg would then seal the deal with a 27 touchdown run and a secured a 70-54 win. Robinson would end the night 20-25 for 366 yards that included 7 TD passes to 4 different receivers, and a 24 yard touchdown run.
