Clarksville Academy Varsity Girl’s Basketball lost a tough one to Greenbrier, 38-42. The Lady Cougars were up by one at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was when the Lady Cougars fell way behind. They were out scored 7-17. The girl’s fought hard third and fourth, 11-12 in the third and 12-8 in the fourth. The second half come back was still not enough for the Lady Cougars.
The leading scorer was Sydneey Boykin with 12 points, Keisha Phillips was also in double digits with 11 points. Vana Pridgen and Alycia Buggs each had four points. Presleigh Sykes had three points, Ashley Roberts with two points. Charlton Kelley and Aaryn Moss each added one point.
The Lady Cougar’s will play again Friday, December 2 against LEAD Academy.
