National Signing Day Release

Clarksville Academy had four senior football standouts participate in National Signing Day.  TJ Jenkins, Preston Moody, Bryce Robinson, and Devon Terwilliger all signed their official letter of intent to play at the collegiate level.

Tajiri Jenkins signed with Centre College Wednesday morning.  Jenkins was a key contributor on the offense and defense for the Cougars this season. Jenkins had 8 receptions for 128 yards on offense.  On the defensive side of the ball, Jenkins had 43 tackles and 2 interceptions for the 2018 season.  Jenkins was named to the Division II Class A Middle Region team, and Leaf-Chronicle All-Area.

Jenkins has showed great leadership for the Clarksville Academy Football program on and off the field.  Off the field, Jenkins is a member of the National Honor Society and Youth in Government. Also, Jenkins was a member of the 2018 State Championship 4×400 Track Team.

Jenkins is the son of Vincent Jr. and Thomya Jenkins. He is the grandson of Vincent Sr. and Gloria Jenkins, and Thomas and Delois Hogan.

Preston Moody signed with Austin Peay State University.  Moody was a key contributor on the offensive line for the Cougars this season. Clarksville Academy’s rushing attack averaged 5.2 yards per carry while Moody at his guard spot.  Moody was named All-State Offensive Lineman, First-Team Division II Class A Middle Region, and Leaf-Chronicle First-Team All-Area.

Moody has showed great leadership for the Clarksville Academy Football program on and off the field.  Off the field, Moody is a member of Model United Nations, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and member of St. Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.

Moody is the son of Lamar and Tiffany Braswell. He is the grandson of Kirk and Cynthia Galbreath.

Bryce Robinson signed with Austin Peay State University.  Robinson threw for a school record 4,469 yards during his four-year career.  Robinson holds the state record for most touchdowns in a game (8) and most touchdown passes in a game (7) during his sophomore season. During his career, Robinson threw 56 touchdowns passes.  Robinson was named to the Division II Class A All-State Quarterback team, First-Team Division II Class A Middle Region, and Leaf-Chronicle All-Area Team.

Robinson has showed great leadership for the Clarksville Academy Football program on and off the field.  Off the field, Robinson is a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, College Bound Athletics, and National Playmaker’s Academy.

Robinson is the son of Mike and Rhonda Robinson. He is the grandson of Larry and Sandra Robinson, and Lenda McClain. His sisters Bayleigh and Carly also attend Clarksville Academy.

Devon Terwilliger signed with Bethel University Wednesday morning.  Terwilliger was a key contributor on the offensive line for the Cougars this season. Clarksville Academy’s rushing attack averaged 5.2 yards per carry while Terwilliger at his tackle spot.  Terwilliger was named to the Leaf-Chronicle All-Area Team.

Terwilliger has showed great leadership for the Clarksville Academy Football program on and off the field.  Off the field, Terwilliger is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars.

Terwilliger is the son of Stacey Terwilliger and David Hines.  He is the grandson of Lurlie and David Hines, and Nancy Hatton.
