Lexi Ezekiel signs with John A. Logan College

Clarksville Academy, senior softball standout,
Lexi Ezekiel, signed with John A. Logan College Friday morning.

 

Ezekiel led the Cougars in batting average, hits, and runs scored during her junior season. Her impressive .500 batting average was one of the top averages in Middle Tennessee for the 2017 season. Ezekiel was named Honorable Mention All-District for her sophomore and junior seasons. Also, she was named Leaf-Chronicle First-Team All-Area and the Clarksville Academy Softball Slugger Award for her junior season.

Ezekiel, a three-year starter, has showed great leadership for the Clarksville Academy Softball program on and off the diamond. Off the diamond, Ezekiel is a member of National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Interact, Key Club, and Latin Club. Ezekiel, a first baseman and left-handed pitcher, has played for several summer travel softball organizations throughout her middle and high school career.

Ezekiel is the daughter of Mike and Rebecca Ezekiel. She is the granddaughter of Landy Broadway, Jerry and Sue Ezekiel, and Bobby and Eula Broadway.
