Varsity Golf Teams Qualify for the Regional Tournament

Clarksville Academy Varsity Golf teams competed in the District 10 Golf Tournament on Monday at Ted Rhodes Golf Course in Nashville. The Boys finished in 3rd place qualifying for the Regional Tournament on Friday of this week.  Wyatt Samuels continued his hot streak finishing 3rd, shooting a 1 over par 73.  Bryson Batson shot an 82 to help with the Cougars final score of 331. Houston County won the district with a 311 and Lipscomb Academy finished 2nd with a 313.

The Lady Cougars finished in 2nd place for the tournament, falling short by 6 strokes, shooting a 169 for the team.  Individually, Mallory Saleh finished in 3rd place with a 84, Hunter Farrell finished 4th with a 85, and Michaela Dowdy finished in 5th place, winning in a playoff with a player from Lipscomb Academy. Lips comb Academy finished first with a score of 163.
Both teams qualified for the Regional Tournament to be held Friday September 23 at The Legacy Golf Course in Springfield. Good Luck to the Cougar Golf Teams
